Music At Mount Olive

Music is a glorious and vital part of Mt. Olive's worship experience. We celebrate hymns and sacred music drawn from the entire spectrum of our rich Christian musical heritage. Moreover, every one of our musical groups offers new members whole-heartedly -- we hope that you will not only enjoy our "musical offerings" to God and His Church but would also considering joining in the "joyful noise."

Adult Choir

In the Festival Half of the Church Year, the Adult Choir meets weekly in the Sanctuary. Singers of many ages and abilities meet to learn and sing psalms, hymns, and easy (unison or two-part) anthems.  This ensemble performs during the Divine Service.

Children's Choir

The children rehearse at the beginning of the Sunday School hour each week (Chapel, 11:00 a.m.), and perform approximately monthly in church.


Solo and Ensemble

Our Sunday service is frequently enhanced by the efforts of  talented vocal and instrumental musicians, offering solo and ensemble work. If you would like to share your gifts with the church in this way, please contact us.
